It is a family of OpenSource-based products with a large footprint across telecommunications operators globally.As Part of 4th Level Support work you will troubleshoot and fix customer deliveries. Oftentimes this requires hard thinking and innovative solutions.If you join us, you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering skills, your deep knowledge and experience in designing systems and solutions that will be deployed globally to our Nokia customers.How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnAre you passionate about creating solutions, solving problems and developing skills in the latest, cutting edge networks?You will work with enterprise and technical support teams L1->L4 as well as business owners and customers on operational requirements, technical support and help our R&D teams come up with a detailed operational requirement that fulfills both the functional and non-functional requirements, quality standards, and legal criteria.As part of our team, you will:Support ProcessesSupport in dimensioning, optimizing, training/coachingDeployment and upgrade automationVerification, including performance and security testing, test automation, participating in troubleshooting, maintenance and internal tool development for OperationsTicket handling (L4)24/7 ROTA engineeringDeployment supportLab maintenanceFixing upstreamImplementing platform servicesBig data processing, streaming & storage solutionsBuilding Operability/Observability concepts from scratch, making design decisions and contributing to Operations on your areaDocumenting concept on adequate level in order to co-operate with colleagues and in order to enable end-users of the productKey Skills And ExperienceYou have:At least 5+ years of experience in understanding complex distributed systems and/or system softwareExperience also in Ops side of DevOps, preferably in SaaS and CaaS environments and applications is a benefitExcellent Linux knowledgeSolid understanding of computer networking: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS handshakes, termination & certificate authentication, higher level protocols like HTTP, WebSockets and gRPC, VPN, SOCKS and HTTP proxiesGood understanding of virtualization platforms used in private cloud and/or modern server hardwareFamiliarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, IAC and IT automation tools & associated DevOps toolchains.Experience in using open-source solutions, a track record of open-source contributions is highly valuedObservability, Serviceability, Operability topics are daily topics for you and understanding "Golden signals" in this area is no-brainer for youSupport in troubleshooting and performance optimization of analytics workloads.Enhancing deployment and upgrade automation of services in own area.It would be nice if you also had:Experience in leveraging cloud-based managed services is a benefitFluent in spoken and written English is a must.
