An international software provider with 75 dedicated colleagues in Denmark, Poland, Canada, and the UK, we combine deep industry expertise with a strong innovation culture in the insurance technology space is expanding its IT department and looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code and platform automation. This is a key role in building a scalable SaaS platform used by global insurance providers, with the chance to shape automation practices and improve system reliability and security.

Your mission

Build and maintain fully automated, secure, and reproducible infrastructure for SaaS environments, enabling scalable provisioning and configuration of Azure-based resources across multiple hosted customer tenants. You'll also support packaged releases for on-premise customers.

Key responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Design & Implementation

  • Define and maintain reusable Bicep/ARM templates or Terraform modules for
  • App Services (.NET Core)
  • Azure SQL (elastic pools or single DBs per tenant)
  • Blob storage, Redis, Elasticsearch
  • Networking, DNS, Private Endpoints
  • Parameterize environments per tenant and version
  • Manage IaC code in GitHub with GitOps-style workflows

CI/CD Pipeline Automation

  • Build or enhance GitHub Actions to validate and deploy IaC templates
  • Promote environment changes through staging → production
  • Trigger app deployments on code merge, tag, or approval

Environment Management

  • Automate creation of new customer environments (one-click or CLI)
  • Maintain staging/sandbox/demo environments
  • Decommission obsolete environments securely and cleanly

Security & Policy Automation

  • Enforce policies via Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, or Bicep modules
  • Integrate security scanning into pipelines (e.g., GitHub Advanced Security, Checkov)

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Generate infrastructure state reports and detect drift
  • Integrate IaC status into Jira or internal dashboards
  • Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and UptimeRobot for observability

What we're looking for:

  • 3–6 years of experience in
    DevOps or Systems Engineering
    with a strong Azure background
  • Solid understanding of
    Infrastructure as Code
    patterns, modular templates, and deployment automation
  • Experience supporting
    multi-environment
    deployment strategies
  • Knowledge of
    DevSecOps
    principles: infrastructure immutability, policy-as-code, secret rotation
  • Bonus: exposure to on-prem installation packaging or hybrid cloud tools
