About the role:

As a Record to Report Supervisor, you will be responsible for the EMEA region. Your main tasks will include ensuring that relevant EMEA books and records and subsequent reporting are delivered timely and accurately, and conform with applicable accounting standards and company policies and procedures.

Apart from process responsibilities, you will oversee the work of the team, provide compliant and high-quality accounting and reporting services to multiple countries, and ensure that the work is completed on time. You will also interact with internal and external auditors and make sure that relevant request is delivered on time.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure that the finance and accounting records are kept accurate and timely in line with company policies
• Liaise closely with local and regional finance teams on all country financial issues
• Work efficiently, so the SLAs can meet at least the customers' expectations
• Timely and proper escalation of all issues to the management and internal customers
• Support the manager in preparing and running periodic review meetings with stakeholders from respective countries and businesses
• Work closely with the local Accounting and Tax staff to ensure the accurate and timely filing of company tax returns – corporate and income taxes, VAT, social security, etc.
• Work closely with the local Accounting and Tax staff to ensure Financial Statements reports meet Local Statutory Reporting requirements
• Work in conjunction with Internal Audit, Sub-Regional Accounting, and Tax Staff
• Ensure that the internal controls are executed correctly
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with all key business partners within the assigned region, including establishing and managing relationships with internal and external audit
• Ensure that US / EMEA / Corporate Reporting Deadlines are met for each market/business for which he/she is responsible
• Supervise the Record to Report Team.

Our requirements:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in General Ledger / Record to Report (GL / RTR) processes
• Minimum 2 years of experience in team management
• Experience in Finance / Accounting in an International / Multinational company, a US parent company advantageous
• Experience in Shared Services or Outsourcing Centre environment
• Experience in financial controlling and business partnering preferred
• Experience in tax accounting and reporting
• MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge
• Excel knowledge – advanced level
• Very good command of English - fluent level
• Customer-focused approach
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
• Ability to communicate professionally with upper management, other departmental teams, and finance professionals at all levels, both internally and externally.
