Mercier Consultancy MD is seeking a dedicated Content Moderator fluent in Polish and English to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria This role offers a unique opportunity for relocation to a vibrant city known for its rich history and culture. As a Content Moderator, you will be instrumental in ensuring that user-generated content adheres to community standards and guidelines, promoting a safe online environment for users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and moderate user-generated content in both Polish and English, ensuring compliance with community guidelines
  • Accurately classify content and make decisions based on established moderation policies
  • Identify and report inappropriate content or violations to the appropriate teams
  • Provide insights into content trends and user interactions to refine moderation strategies
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance content moderation processes
  • Remain updated on company policies regarding content moderation and community engagement

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Polish and English (written and spoken) is essential
  • Previous experience in content moderation or a similar role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistently applying guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively articulating moderation decisions
  • Ability to handle sensitive content with professionalism and care
  • Familiarity with online platforms and content moderation tools is advantageous
  • Willingness to relocate to Sofia and adapt to a new cultural environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team
