Role Overview
Leading the global Security Governance & Risk team accountable for the security risk management strategy and implementation of the Information Security Management framework.
This includes working with teams across Planet to ensure accountability and responsibility for secure ways of working are understood and straightforward to implement. You will govern the management of security risk and PCI compliance through collaboration, policy management, and controls assurance activity.
What you will do
- Define and oversee the security governance strategy and roadmap.
- Lead and provide coaching and development for a team of security risk and control professionals
- Own and drive the program of activity for risk and policy management, awareness initiatives, PCI audits, and wider security control assurance and testing activity for Planet systems, third party supplier and partners.
- Deliver an uplift in compliance with security policy across through clear accountability, awareness and enhanced KRI/KPI reporting
- Drive an improvement program so that teams can cost effectively and easily demonstrate compliance with policy and controls.
Who you are
- Successful in building, leading and developing high performing teams and individuals.
- Demonstrable experience on successfully executing on strategy and continuous security improvement in a fast-paced commercially focused environment
- Risk-focused and drives delivery. Brings innovation and continuous improvement to ways of working.
- Effective at articulating technical security risk in straightforward terms.
- Extensive experience with maintaining compliance with regulatory and PCI standards in Financial Services / Payments
- Exposure to multiple technology environments including services hosted on cloud platforms.
