Global IT Financial Controller

How you will get the job done

• financial controlling and managing IT projects with a focus on intercompany charging, cost controlling, streamlining processes, preparing for decision-making and budgeting
• charging international intercompany IT costs, processing and steering (incl. monthly, quarterly and yearly closings) between IT Service Hubs, ERGO Group and ERGO subsidiaries
• preparing, steering and conducting IT project-related conceptual workshops in an international environment
• reporting of IT financial figures for ERGO CFO and ET&SM Management Board, as well as preparation of ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations
• taking over IT project-related work and IT project management as well as other tasks for the finance departments in ERGO (i.e. Global Finance Department)
• being involved in yearly rate card adjustments (incl. true-ups/downs) in coordination with local units (DE/PL/IND)

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English (C1)
• at least 5 years of experience in Finance (Controlling) / Business Analysis or Consulting with a strong Finance orientation
• knowledge of financial controlling, cost accounting (and transfer pricing)
• knowledge of cost management and finance
• data management
• strong analytical mindset
• experience in working in a multinational environment
• good communication skills

Nice to have

• proficient user of Excel, SAP, Clarity
• knowledge of German
