Job Title: Management Accountant

Reporting Lines: Reports to Financial Reporting Manager
Job Purpose
Joining our dynamic and ambitious retail business, you will manage a key area within our finance team. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful management accounts and financial data for the business.
As part of the management accounts team, you will need excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible approach, and exceptional analytical and commercial abilities to achieve outstanding results. This role will significantly impact the financial integrity and agility of the business.

Required Skills

Responsibilities
- Produce accurate monthly reports for specific cost lines within the management accounts to meet reporting deadlines.
- Provide variance analysis and commentary for inclusion in the board report.
- Partner with head office functions to ensure the accuracy of accounts and provide financial support.
- Produce month-end stock postings.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of stock financial records.
- Review and monitor the gross margin report for the business.
- Prepare accurate key monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review proposed cheque runs for accuracy.
- Support and contribute to the annual budget and periodic forecasting.
- Continuously review and improve processes.
- Complete ONS returns.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and the annual audit.
- Continuous review and improvements of processes, including maintaining process notes.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting for the business.
Salary & Benefits
- Pay: Hourly, $ 10.00 – 11.00
