Job Description

  • Design develop and implement enterprise grade applications using the Appian BPM platform
  • Lead end to end Appian project lifecycle requirements gathering architecture development testing deployment and support
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including business analysts QA DevOps and client stakeholders
  • Develop complex Appian components process models SAIL interfaces records reports web APIs and integrations
  • Conduct code reviews performance tuning and ensure adherence to Appian best practices coding standards and architecture patterns
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across distributed teams
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation deployment scripts and test cases
  • Designing and optimizing relational database structures
  • Writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and triggers
  • Performing query optimization and database tuning
  • Integrating databases with applications and reporting tools

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Appian 20x and above including SAIL Appian Records Sites Reports and Web APIs
  • Strong understanding of Appian architecture including in memory KDB engines scaling and deployment strategies
  • Experience with Appian plugin development Smart Services Function Plugins Servlet Plugins
  • Integration expertise with RESTSOAP APIs external systems and databases
  • Familiarity with JavaJ2EE SQL and scripting languages
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CICD pipelines for Appian deployments
