We are looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our Investment Operations Technology organization in Krakow who is looking to use technical and software development skills to grow our Firm. This position is primarily responsible for contributing to iterative growth of business-critical applications for Middle Office space and Infomediary messaging platforms using the latest Java and Web technologies. The candidate will be responsible for bringing new skillset onto our group, provide guidelines to our less experienced developers and will be closely cooperating with our Stakeholders to drive applications evolution and feature changes.

Responsibilities:

• Core Java development and Web applications with Spring and Angular
• Participate in requirements analysis.
• Work with deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
• Debugging and problem solving on existing applications
• Working in distributed teams with Agile Frameworks (Kanban/Scrum)
• Feature development, code reviews, guide our developers for best development practices

Must have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/engineering or last year of university degree
• Good analytical skills
• At least 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Very Good knowledge of Java (11+)
• Strong Experience with Spring Framework
• Strong Experience with JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with Apache Camel
• Experience with Messaging Queues
• Experience with QueryDSL or other query mapping frameworks
• Strong Experience with SQL/NoSQL with understanding of database design and optimization methodologies
• Experience in Angular 10+
• Good knowledge of linux commands and scripting
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (preferred Cucumber)
• Good knowledge of design patterns and scalable architecture principles

Soft Skills:

• Very Good command of English (verbal and written)
• Teamwork skills and great communications skills when working with external groups like Product Management, Project Management, Product Strategy and Senior Project Stakeholders
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage delivery time effectively
