Job Purpose

As an Engineering Manager you will represent and be accoutable for Rigid & Geotech Engineering Sub-System in Krakow, making sure flawless deliveries of projects within this area with main focus on RiSE (Rigid in-line Structure Engineering) portfolio. 

Main Responsibilities
Actively contribute to TechnipFMC, Krakow Poland overall strategy development alligned with Rigid & Geotech and Installation & Construction Engineering Sub-Systems.Manage a multi-discipline engineering team and ensures the quantitative and qualitative adjustment of engineering resources according to project and/or operational needs.Develop the department by mentoring and coaching direct reports including the Managers to be a strong internal provider of project services and resources.Monitor and report the involvement and performance of engineering teams during projects.Identify opportunities for engineering process migrations.Overall responsibility for daily operations including maintaining operational efficiency, delivering service in line with the client's expectations, managing workload and resources, ensuring allocation to projects and utilization.Managing demand and capacity by ensuring the teams are right sized to meet forecast demand from projects, NPD and PLM.Manage and maintain the department to ensure that all the work performed in the group is planned and executed in accordance with TechnipFMC policies, procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.Responsible for technical content of work performed within the department.Development of team competences based on project needs and execution strategy.Drive continuous improvement within the area of responsibility to provide sufficient support.Direct the operations of the department within approved budgets and established TechnipFMC routines and instructions.Responsible for all HSE aspects within area of responsibility including authority and duty to stop ongoing work when there is a safety risk identified.  Required Qualifications
Behaviors consistent with TechnipFMC vision and core values. BA/MA degree in Engineering (preferably Machine Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar).At least 8 years of experience in Product Design & Development in Oil & Gas with at least 5 years of leadership experience.Knowledge of Rigid & Geotech and Installation & Construction products and services is an asset.Good communication skills, capable of solving technical issues.
