Job Summary:
City Parking Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Warsaw. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to expand City Parking Group's portfolio within Poland and potentially beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proven track record in business development,2 and a strong understanding of the parking or related urban infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential clients within the parking industry (e.g., municipalities, commercial developers, retail centers, hospitals, transport hubs).
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to identify competitive advantages and areas for growth.
- Lead Generation & Relationship Building:
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and industry partners.
- Represent City Parking Group professionally at conferences, trade shows, and other events.
- Sales & Proposal Development:
- Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Develop compelling and tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate City Parking Group's value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, legal) to ensure proposals are technically sound, financially viable, and legally compliant.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company's business development strategy.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights for senior management.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Act as a primary point of contact for new clients during the initial transition phase.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the parking, urban infrastructure, smart city solutions, or real estate sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing significant business deals.
- Strong understanding of the Polish market and business landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in Polish and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Ability to travel as required.
