Solutioning Director
to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

We are looking for a seasoned Solutioning Director to lead the presales solution architecture function across large, complex deals for Ciklum's clients in Western Europe. This role is ideal for a technology leader with deep experience in enterprise architecture, engineering-led solutioning, and presales strategy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, bid management, and delivery teams to craft compelling, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with client business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end solutioning for large pursuits (RFPs, RFIs, proactive proposals)
• Drive solution strategy across cloud, digital, data, AI, platforms, and integration layers
• Align solution blueprints with client enterprise architectures and transformation goals
• Bring market insight on a regional and segmentation level into the technical vision, strategies, and development of our service portfolio
• Provide technical leadership during client conversations, credentialing Ciklum and identifying the pressing domain challenges Ciklum can help to solve
• Partner with Sales Directors and Account Leaders to develop win strategies
• Advise and consult potential clients on Ciklum solutions and services capabilities based on their needs and expectations
• Lead solution workshops, orals, client-facing presentations and technical defenses
• Review and approve solution architectures, effort estimates, and pricing models
• Influence storytelling, differentiation, and value articulation in proposals
• Mentor and lead a team of solution architects and presales consultants
• Build capability in AI-driven solutioning, low-code, cloud-native design, and more
• Promote reusability, accelerators, frameworks, and solution IP
• Bring in modern architecture practices (event-driven, composable, microservices, etc.)
• Evaluate and integrate AI/GenAI, automation, and platform thinking into solutioning
• Champion engineering excellence, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery models

Requirements:

• 15+ years in IT services, with at least 7+ in presales or solution architecture roles
• Technical solution selling experience in a multi-national technology services organization such as of Management Consultancies, SI's, High-tech companies or Digital Agencies
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise integration, data, and AI-driven engineering
• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
• Exposure to full-stack development, API/microservices, DevSecOps, and observability
• Proven track record of solutioning and winning large multi-million-dollar pursuits
• Experience working with bid management teams and contributing to RFP responses
• Ability to balance innovation with cost, risk, and delivery feasibility
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Executive presence with ability to engage CXO clients and internal leadership
• Experience leading teams across geographies and managing high-pressure deadlines
