Responsibilities

• Create and update technical specifications (e.g. Funktions-LAH, System-LAH) under consideration of adjacent function modules, control units, control concepts,, components- and vehicle-interfaces
• Preparation of a function specific list of statutory provisions and guidelines, including research and analysis of legal texts and specifications
• Analysis of data packages (e.g. BAP)
• Definition and Application of signals in OEM IT application
• Function modelling (incl. Updates, reviews and preparation for approval)
• Conceptualize and design of the system, according to the project milestones
• Define and coordinate wiring contents (component, central/zone control units, function control units, HMI)
• Preparation and updates of system architectural documents and variant overviews
• Define requirements for the system circuit diagram design (initial creation and changes)
• Preparation of application data, e.g. ZDCs (application data container files)
• Management of the component development process, regarding the OEM process standards
• Create and update diagnosis specifications (e.g. Bauteil-LAH, Diagnosedatentabellen)
• Coordination of requirements with linked scopes, e.g. control concepts, component and vehicle interfaces
• Prepare technical quotation documents for protentional suppliers
• Prepare documentations and presentations, regarding technical solutions, overviews, development activities, etc.
• Preparation of approval recommendations incl. collecting and creation of necessary documentations for P-Release, B-Release, BMG, K-Release

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with embedded software development
• Experience with requirements management tool - Polarion (is a must for daily base usage). Other tool is nice to have.
• Experience in creating and updating specifications (e.g. Funktions-LAH, System-LAH)
• Experience in analysing data packages (e.g. BAP)
• Experience with automotive bus systems (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay) and debuggers (e.g. iSYSTEM, Lauterbach)
• Experience in preparation of application data, e.g. ZDCs
• Deep knowledge of test frameworks used in embedded context – unit, integration and function testing
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g. MKS/Integrity, SVN, Git)
• Practical experience with Vector tools (e.g. CANoe, CANape)
• Knowledge of architecture tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody)
• Understanding of requirements of release stages, P-Release, B-Release, BMG, K-Release
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• German language - Nice to have
