We're looking for a Senior Developer Experience Engineer (AI Tools / Agents / IDEs).
In this role, you'll leverage your deep technical expertise and sound judgment to steer critical projects, provide architectural direction, and elevate the work of those around you. This track is ideal for engineers who excel at using their technical expertise to increase productivity and want to share it and inspire others.

The role is based in our Warsaw office - established in 2022, it is a growing hub for engineers who love solving impactful problems. Teams here work on a broad range of challenges that push the boundaries of our products and infrastructure.

About The Role

  • Design and build the Developer Experience AI platform that helps our engineers get more done with less friction, you will have a full freedom to select tools best suited for the job:
  • Build and maintain AI‑assisted development workflows: code generation/refactoring, test and docs generation, large‑scale codebase transformations, and safe automated migrations.
  • Create and evolve IDE integrations and plugins (e.g., VS Code / Cursor / JetBrains) that bring monday‑specific context, copilots, and "vibe‑coding" agent pairs into developers' daily flow.
  • Develop reliable agents that orchestrate tools (linting, static analysis, repo graph, build systems, issue trackers) with well‑defined policies and guardrails.
  • Our stack: , TypeScript, AWS, SQS/SNS/Kafka, SQL, NoSQL. You may also use Python for ML/agent tooling, vector stores, and evaluation pipelines. We don't require prior experience with every technology, but you should be excited to learn and get hands‑on quickly.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling and a solid understanding of the underlying technologies.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including architecture design, CI/CD, testing, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with modern IDEs (e.g., VS Code, JetBrains, Cursor).
  • Strong programming expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working cross-functionally alongside engineers, product managers, and designers.
  • A curious, growth-oriented mindset, with enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and continuously refining workflows.
