Junior/Mid-Level Project Manager (Residential Construction)

Location: Warsaw, Poland (with frequent site visits)

Salary: 15, ,000 PLN (gross) UoP (No B2B) 

Alides is a dynamic and forward-thinking international real estate investor and developer with a strong presence in prime urban locations across Belgium and Poland. We specialize in high-quality office and residential projects, guided by our core values of growth, innovation, and "Real Estate Upcycling." As we prepare to begin construction on three new residential projects in Poland, we are seeking a motivated and technically-minded Project Manager to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional looking to develop their career in project management with hands-on experience and direct mentorship from our senior team.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Project Support: Act as the primary on-site representative for Alides, providing day-to-day support to senior project managers and overseeing construction activities.

  • Technical Oversight: Monitor construction progress, ensuring that work adheres to technical specifications, architectural drawings, and quality standards.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Manage project documentation, including preparing daily and weekly progress reports, logging issues, and maintaining records of changes and variations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Assist in coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure clear communication and smooth project flow.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues on-site and work with the senior team to find practical and effective solutions.

  • Budget and Schedule Tracking: Support the senior project manager in tracking project timelines and budgets, flagging any potential deviations.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a technical or project-based role within the construction industry. Experience on residential projects is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: A solid understanding of residential construction processes, materials, and building regulations. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and technical drawing software is beneficial.

  • Soft Skills: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver. You possess excellent communication skills and can build strong working relationships with on-site teams.

  • Mindset: You are eager to learn, thrive in a hands-on environment, and are comfortable spending a significant amount of time on the construction site.

  • Language: Fluency in Polish is required. Professional proficiency in English is a plus.
