We are looking for an innovative AI Scientist/Engineer to lead the development of end-to-end predictive workflows in computational drug discovery. This role sits at the intersection of deep learning, structural biology, and chemical manufacturing.

You will be responsible for building and deploying AI pipelines for small molecule screening, biologics design, and AAV engineering, leveraging generative and agentic AI. You will work across the full stack - from reading complex research papers and replicating their results to deploying models on Google Cloud and building user-facing Dash applications.

Our client is USA-based biotechnology company, specializing in advancing Artificial Intelligence for gene therapy and disease characterization.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Small Molecule Screening & Design – AI pipelines, binding affinity prediction, sequence/structure models (AlphaFold 3, diffusion), lead optimization, de novo design.

• Biologics & Virtual Cell Modeling – virtual cell perturbation models, PDGrapher, Large Perturbation Models, Cell2Sentence.

• Application Development & Infrastructure – Dash/Plotly apps, model API integration, deployment on Google AI Cloud (Vertex AI, TPU/GPU).

• Research & Replication – literature review, reproducing GitHub/academic results, benchmarking on open-source and internal datasets.

We offer a B2B contract 

• B2B: 150 – 160 PLN net/hour + VAT
  

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• Ph.D. or master's degree in computer science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field with a focus on Deep Learning/GNNs.
• Deep Learning: Extensive experience with Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Graph & Structure: Familiarity with GNN libraries (PyG, DGL) and structural biology tools.
• Multi-Omics: Experience handling and analyzing omics/multi-omics data (transcriptomics, proteomics).
• Cloud: Proficiency with Google AI Cloud platforms and tools.
•  App Development: Ability to build prototypes using Dash, Streamlit, or similar frameworks.
  
• Strong English skills (C1 level - daily communication with international stakeholders).
• Location in Poland.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Demonstrated success in reproducing complex models like PDGrapher.
• Experience with AlphaFold 3 or other structure prediction tools.
• Background in chemical manufacturing processes or CMC data.
