For our Client, one of the leading manufacturing companies in Europe, we are looking for a Financial Director who will be a key business partner to the CEO and the Management Board, responsible for financial strategy, cost control, reporting, and process development in a dynamic, international environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's long-term financial strategy supporting business goals and profitability growth.
  • Collaborate with the Management Board and the international headquarters, providing advice on strategic decisions, scenario modeling, and risk analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Polish and international standards and report to headquarters and shareholders.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, monitor results, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify and minimize financial, currency, tax, and operational risks.
  • Implement digital tools, automate financial processes, and optimize ERP systems (SAP S4/HANA).
  • Lead the finance department, develop employee competencies, and foster a culture of collaboration.
  • Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, tax authorities, and investors.
  • Evaluate and approve investment projects in terms of return on investment and alignment with company strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in a senior management position within manufacturing companies operating in an international environment.
  • Experience working with large ERP systems (preferably SAP S4/HANA).
  • Higher education, Master's degree in economics or related fields.
  • Experience in team and process management in efficiency-oriented organizations.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build relationships within the Group.
  • Independence, proactivity, and action-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Analytical thinking, structured approach, and results orientation.
  • Interest in understanding the business through strong financial control. Strong competencies in finance, controlling, and accounting.
  • Resilience to change and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
