Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join a Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) team. This role focuses on embedding cloud and container security controls into enterprise-scale cloud environments and development processes.

You will act as the bridge between security engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that CNAPP capabilities such as vulnerability management, cloud posture management, and asset inventory are effectively designed, integrated, and adopted across the organization.

The role combines cloud security expertise, DevSecOps practices, and agile delivery, with strong emphasis on requirement gathering, solution design, and technical alignment across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional security requirements in collaboration with architects, cloud engineers, platform teams, and control owners.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for cloud and container security, advising on security controls, architecture, and implementation.

  • Define and prioritize epics, features, and user stories within agile sprints, including goals, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, technical specifications, and delivered security capabilities.

  • Support stakeholders new to CNAPP by guiding them through requirements definition and solution design.

  • Run workshops, design sessions, and demos to validate solutions and obtain stakeholder sign-off.

  • Define and manage acceptance criteria to ensure agreed requirements are met.

  • Design and document integrations and APIs between CNAPP components and enterprise systems (e.g., reporting platforms, data lakes, security tooling).

Required Experience & Skills
Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Security SME in cloud projects and security/compliance platforms (SaaS and/or on-prem).

  • Strong hands-on experience with CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability scanning, configuration baselines, compliance and asset inventory.

  • Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum environments (epics, features, user stories).

  • Experience with API integrations, microservices, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps and secure CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with data engineering platforms such as Databricks (or similar) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, PCI-DSS) is preferred.

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or similar) are an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English (written and spoken).
