Senior IT Automation Tester

Salary: PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

The initiative is a major project in the financial sector, focused on modernizing solutions and automating processes. Its goal is to improve bank customer service while maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge about each client. This involves collecting and analyzing data to assess risks and prevent illegal activities such as money laundering. Ultimately, the project aims to ensure effective customer service and continuous monitoring of client behavior in compliance with international security regulations.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Plan, write, and execute both manual and automated test cases
• Create, run, and report automation tests with clear and structured documentation
• Write clear and maintainable tests, preferably following the BDD approach
• Provide comprehensive and transparent test reports
• Work independently on complex problems within specific areas of expertise
• Take ownership of assigned project tasks and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Lead, train, and coach other project members, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Drive the implementation of testing standards and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide mentoring support and actively contribute to enhancing the overall test environment and processes at the portfolio level

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 7 years of experience in automation within IT projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, technologies, and testing tools
• Proficiency in C# programming
• Experience with Selenium and SpecFlow frameworks
• Good understanding of HTML
• Solid knowledge of JSON and XML standards
• Experience with SQL and database validation
• Practical experience in REST API testing and defect management
• Ability to identify, analyze, and raise defects effectively throughout the testing process
