Project DescriptionThis research will focus on the foundation of the molecular biomechanics of the SARS-CoV-2. Here we plan to investigate the spike (S) protein and its interaction with the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) receptor and neutralising antibodies (Ab) responsible for the immune evasion.Scope of work in the positionPerforming Martini 3 simulations for biomolecular complexesDeveloping coarse-grained methodologies for enhanced sampling of conformational dynamics in protein systemsManuscript preparationsAuxiliary supervision of PhD studentProfile of candidate/RequirementsDocument confirming the award of a doctoral degree scheduled who has been conferred a PhD degree within 7 years before employment in the project. This period may be extended pursuant to the terms laid down in the Types of costs in research projects funded by the NCN.
