AP Payment Specialist

As AP Payment Specialist you will oversee vendor payment processes from initiation to reconciliation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Work closely with stakeholders to resolve queries, improve workflows, and optimize financial operations. Support month-end reporting, drive process improvements, and maintain strong business relationships across the organization

Your role

You will be responsible for end-to-end vendor payment processing, including SAP and online banking transactions, monitoring success, resolving issues, and driving process improvements. Provides timely support, reporting, and analysis while fostering strong business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepares and executes in SAP automatic payments according to internal payment calendar as well as ad-hoc off-cycle payments
• Manage end-to-end vendor payment processing through SAP and online banking, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and reconcile payments, investigate issues, and perform root cause analysis for rejected or returned transactions.
• Provide responsive support to stakeholders, resolving queries and fostering strong business relationships.
• Prepare reports, including aging analysis, and support month-end closing activities.
• Processing user queries through Service Now (ticketing system) and support Month-End reporting

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications/experience:

• A university degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in AP preparing payment
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is a must) and hands-on experience in operating in SAP payment transactions
• Advanced Excel skills
• General understanding of end-to-end AP processes and interdependencies between Finance areas
• Analytical mindset and ability to resolve payment-related issues
• Fluent English both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team
• Experience in working with ticketing system (Service Now would be plus)
