About the Role

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is seeking an experienced
R2R Senior Accountant – Team Leader
to deliver high-quality
Record-to-Report
activities for our Central Europe entities. In this role, you will ensure accurate ledgers, timely period-end close, compliant fixed-asset and intercompany processes, reliable cashflow/treasury support, and well-prepared VAT documentation. You will also lead and mentor a small team, partnering closely with
Statutory Accounting, Country Finance, Controlling, Tax, and Treasury
teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Accounting:

  • Track project costs as part of AP activities
  • Review and confirm postings to WBS objects
  • Process project cost reversals and reclassifications per statutory advice

Fixed Asset Accounting:

  • Maintain asset register in SAP
  • Process asset retirements, disposals, transfers, and reinstatements

General Ledger & Intercompany:

  • Set up recurring journal entries in SAP
  • Process recharges and accruals
  • Monitor unmatched intercompany transactions and process charges
  • Maintain close timetable and generate cost-centre transaction listings

Financial Reporting:

  • Populate internal and external reporting templates
  • Support statutory and group reporting requirements

Treasury & Cashflow:

  • Prepare cashflow forecasts
  • Reconcile PTP bank accounts per policy

Tax & Compliance:

  • Prepare AP/AR VAT transaction listings
  • Draft VAT declaration documents

Team Leadership:

  • Guide and support team members in daily operations
  • Foster an open feedback culture and continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international corporation
  • Strong SAP FI/CO knowledge (GL, AA, CO, Intercompany, Journals)
  • Solid understanding of VAT and period-end close processes
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Fluent English; additional Central European languages are a plus
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment\
