About The Role
As a
Master Data Analyst
, you will work closely with local business units and colleagues across multiple departments. Depends on team you join, your main responsibility will be:

• creation and maintenance of product data for DFDS duty-free shops on board our vessels and in ports. These products include cosmetics, alcohol, toys, and confectionery. You will ensure accurate pricing, availability, and categorization of products, supporting a seamless customer experience.
• creation and maintenance of customer accounts for all DFDS organisations. You will be in charge for verifying customer information and ensuring all required checks are completed before account creation This role involves accurate data entry and updates across several operational and ERP systems, as well as maintaining Master Data standards and performing bulk changes.

We work in a hybrid model (2–3 days per week from our Poznań office and the rest remotely). For new joiners, we encourage spending the first 2–3 weeks in the office for a smooth onboarding experience.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Product/Customer Data Management: Create, maintain, and update products/customers accounts in DFDS operational and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
• Data Analysis and Validation: Leverage intermediate Excel functions (e.g., XLOOKUP; MAX IF, TRIM, ROUND, LEN, LEFT, RIGHT) to compare and validate data
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve issues raised by colleague from other departments and location. Identify root causes and escalate to technical teams when necessary.
• Technical Proficiency: Work efficiently with thousands of records in Excel and manage tasks through ticketing systems.
• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across multiple countries. Explain complex issues in a structured way and build positive relationships with local business units and cross-functional teams.
• Organizational & Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tickets and projects simultaneously, and deliver updates within agreed timelines.
• Process Improvement & Innovation: Contribute to projects focused on database clean-up, standardization, and categorization. Share ideas to support automation and streamline workflows.
• Business Awareness: Understand the impact of Master Data on customer experience and operational efficiency. Align daily work with broader business goals and transformation initiatives. Ensure standards are upheld and represent Master Data in cross-functional meetings.
• Teamwork & Adaptability: Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, share knowledge, and adapt to changing priorities and new projects.

About You
We wish you to have:

• Comfortable speaking and writing in English (at least B2 level)
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for task management
• Team player attitude and willingness to support others
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills
• 3-4 years of experience in Master Data or similar role
