Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) in the EU to build test automation, ensure quality releases, and support reliable delivery of business-critical systems.
The customer is an international IT services and consulting company specializing in software quality engineering, test automation, and process optimization. The company supports digital transformation initiatives by delivering scalable automation solutions and improving the reliability, performance, and efficiency of complex business systems across various industries.
The project is focused on providing end-to-end quality assurance services, including manual and automated testing, to support business-critical systems. It involves building and maintaining test coverage, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring reliable releases through structured QA processes and clear reporting.
Technology stack: JavaScript, Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, Postman/REST, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SMAX/ServiceNow/Atlassian ITSM.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated UI and API test suites.
- Ensuring stable regression coverage for ITSM processes (Incident/Change/Request).
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Reviewing test automation code and improving maintainability.
- Collaborating on test data strategy and environmental stability.
Requirements
- Experience in QA Automation for 2+ years.
- Experience with JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and automated REST API checks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as SMAX, ServiceNow, or Atlassian ITSM.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
- Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
