Founded in 1993, Building Automation Products, Inc. (BAPI) is a premier sensor manufacturer for HVAC/R. Specializing in sensors for temperature, relative humidity, pressure, wireless and air quality monitoring, plus test instruments, electronics technician assistants (ETA) and accessories.
BAPI is based in Gays Mills, Wisconsin, USA. To support our customers in the UK and Europe, BAPI opened a European Distribution Center located in Aldershot, Hampshire, United Kingdom and in September, 2025 opened Manufacturing Facility in Nowa Wola, close to Warsaw in Poland.
Our products are sold around the globe through BAPI directly or online, or through our distributor network.

Position Summary:
HVAC Sensor Sales adds value to BAPI and the Sales Team by selling BAPI's HVAC/R Sensors using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to assist them in finding the right solutions and applying the products to their needs. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.
HVAC SENSOR SALES Principal Responsibilities
:
· Make sales contacts, research customer needs and develop application of products in an effective manner by:
- Determining market strategies & goals for products
- Obtaining & coordinating date & information from BAPI staff
- Establishing positive long-term relationships with customers by learning about their business, listening to and/or identifying their needs and promoting appropriate BAPI products
- Working with new and existing customers to develop relevant BAPI sales forecasts
- Researching and developing lists of potential customers
- Doing market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff
- Evaluating product marketability in terms of customers' technical & manufacturing needs
- Following up on sales leads and making cold calls on potential customers
- Documenting all customer contacts according to procedures
- Working closely with Customer Service Representatives to assure they are up-to-date on needed information
· Working with Marketing to assure needed materials/documents are available and developed as needed
· Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.
Requirements
:
· Required Associate's Degree, Trade or Technical School; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
· Degrees Preferred: Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field or equivalent experience
- Required Electronics training
- Trainings in: Customer Service/Relations, HVAC/R, Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Technology preferred
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word), strong written and oral communications skills and minimum three (3+) years' sales experience
