Responsibilities
Position Purpose:
The ServiceNow QA Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of both automated and manual testing solutions to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of the ServiceNow platform. While the focus is on test automation, this role also includes manual testing activities where appropriate. The engineer will work closely with development team, BAs and Platform Architect to improve test coverage, enhance testing efficiency, and help deliver reliable, high-quality ServiceNow solutions.

Primary duties will include:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for the ServiceNow platform, including functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Develop and execute manual tests in areas where automation is not applicable or practical.
• Define and manage testing strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Work closely with product development team to understand requirements and ensure testability of features.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issues to resolution.
• Coordinate UAT sessions with stakeholders, compile test results and deliver findings back to development team.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Facilitate and drive team-wide upskilling efforts in application testing to enhance testing capabilities and overall quality.
• Document implemented features, test coverage, feature dependencies to ensure traceability, transparency, and effective knowledge sharing across development and QA team.

Qualifications
To land this role you will need:

• Strong experience in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience with manual testing, including test case creation and execution.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA principles.
• Excellent collaboration skills - able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of Now Platform administration and configuration (core platform & ITSM product).
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience with ServiceNow development (JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs).
• Experience with Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools for automated API testing.

Education / Certification Requirements:

• min. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related Degree or proven years of experience.

• Hybrid – in our office at ul. Mogilska 35 (private parking for employees).
