Key responsibilities of the Procurement Category Manager - Marketing:

You will be instrumental in driving value and efficiency across critical spend areas, including a
gencies, production, market research, events, and POSM
. Your core focus will be to ensure the best possible return on investment and secure top-tier quality services for the business.

• Regional strategy development: Define and execute robust regional category strategies within the defined scope, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for spend optimization
• Sourcing & best practice leadership: Spearhead regional sourcing initiatives and develop innovative tools, processes, and best practices to enable more efficient investment across various markets
• Global/regional deployment: Collaborate closely with the Global Category Procurement team to successfully deploy overarching global strategies across the European region
• Stakeholder engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key senior global, regional, and local stakeholders, as well as Procurement teams, to ensure successful strategy delivery and realized efficiencies

Key requirements:

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with deep expertise in strategic Procurement within the Marketing and Sales categories.

• Experience & track record: A minimum of 5
  +
  years of dedicated experience in Marketing & Sales Procurement, with a demonstrable history of success in category strategy development, spend optimization, and project execution
• Commercial acumen: Strong negotiation and contract management skills are essential, coupled with solid financial acumen and expertise in developing robust business cases and conducting ROI analysis
• Strategic & influential: You must be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams to drive change
• Educational background: A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree in Procurement, Marketing, or Sales being a significant advantage
• Fluent English is mandatory.
