We are seeking a
Senior Data Software Engineer
to develop innovative data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and Scala.

Responsibilities

  • Develop data software engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and Scala
  • Design and implement complex data pipelines applying data engineering techniques
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all project requirements are met
  • Participate in customer interviews to gather project insights and feedback
  • Communicate project status clearly and escalate issues to management when necessary
  • Optimize performance on large datasets containing multi-million records
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data engineering problems effectively
  • Maintain documentation related to data pipelines and engineering processes
  • Support continuous improvement of data engineering practices and tools

Requirements

  • Experience in data engineering with 3+ years working on Azure Databricks and data pipelines
  • Proficient in development using Scala programming language
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques on large datasets
  • Good understanding of Azure services and their application in data engineering
  • Problem solving skills with ability to address complex technical challenges
  • Collaborative mindset with good communication skills
  • Experience working in software, system, or test engineering environments
  • English language proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Agile teams with understanding of Agile principles and practices
  • Certified Databricks professional
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline implementation
