Why we're hiring:

We're seeking an exceptional Director of Product Consulting to build, lead, and scale our team of Senior Product Consultants. As a senior leader, you'll be responsible for establishing our product consulting practice as the strategic voice of the customer across the enterprise, driving organizational excellence in product discovery, customer advocacy, and solution innovation. You'll ensure your team consistently delivers high-impact outcomes that shape the evolution of OPEN Production while building the frameworks, methodologies, and capabilities that enable world-class product consulting at scale.

What you'll be doing:

Product Evangelism & Customer Advocacy

• Serve as the executive-level voice of the customer, synthesizing insights across the client portfolio to inform product vision and roadmap.
• Partner with product leadership to ensure customer insights drive strategic product decisions and long-term planning Identify patterns across customer ecosystems to surface strategic opportunities and innovation themes.
• Champion solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes and enterprise-scale impact.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Senior Product Consultants.
• Create a culture of customer advocacy, strategic thinking, and continuous innovation within the consulting practice. 
• Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching to maximize team impact.
• Design career progression pathways and succession planning for the consulting organization.
• Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and capacity planning across the consulting team.

Strategic Oversight 

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the Product Consulting function aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee strategic product discovery sessions with executive clients, partners, and internal leadership, engaging directly with the most complex or high-value opportunities.
• Establish best practices, methodologies, and frameworks for requirements gathering, synthesis, and translation into product specifications.
• Ensure consistent quality and rigor across all product discovery initiatives, solution architectures, and stakeholder engagements.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with the Sales and commercial teams to shape product pricing & implementation consulting to drive revenue growth.
• Partner with Key Vertical Leads and Agency stakeholders to understand adoption challenges and key pain points to inform product teams. 
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success leadership to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with key clients and strategic partners.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

• Evaluate competition, market trends, produce product competitive analyses and identify unmet opportunities for product development.
• Drive thought leadership on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive strategies in the content production and marketing technology space.
• Establish the team as trusted advisors and industry experts through content, speaking engagements, and strategic insights.

What you'll need:

• Experience in Consulting, technology, product management, or similar strategic roles in marketing technology, content production, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in a leadership role managing, coaching, and developing high-performing consulting or solutions teams.
• Proven track record of building and scaling consulting practices or customer-facing product functions.
• Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives that directly influenced product strategy and business outcomes.
• Track record of driving organizational transformation or change management initiatives.
• Deep expertise and experience in AI technologies and applications.
