Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of cash, portfolio and other balances with relevant source
  • Preparation of various calculations e.g. expenses, waterfalls and others
  • Preparation of NAV reporting package, tax reporting and regulatory reporting when required.
  • Preparation of reporting package
  • Preparation of audit files and support external audit requirements
  • Completion of any other assigned operational tasks
  • Proper classification of all operations related documentation (paper and electronic format)
  • Daily follow-up of the common mailbox and treatment of the allocated emails
  • Apply control objectives review in terms of accuracy, completeness, classification, occurrence,
  • valuation, right and obligation, allocation and cut-off
  • Primary contact for clients on operational topics and NAV sign-off
  • Participation to client meetings
  • Interaction with other PAS or EFA departments
  • Tasks must be executed in accordance with procedures and applicable laws & regulations
  • Observe PAS departmental policies and procedures, e.g. in terms of time management and timesheet completion
  • Conform to EFA requirements in terms of procedures and governance
  • Help with the supervision of assistant accountants when required

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master university degree, preferably in accounting, economics or finance
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg and alternative fund industry (Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt, Microfinance…)
  • English, French or German considered as an asset
  • Well organised, analytic approach, good interpersonal skills and hands-on
  • Windows and MS Office suite
