Our Cloud Security Team enables Egnyte to safely build scalable cloud infrastructure. We act as a stable counterpart, cooperating closely with Production Engineering & SRE Teams to ensure security & reliability of our environments

What You'll Do

• Perform security assessments and take part in architecture design reviews
• Coordinate long running cross-team initiatives, aimed at improving security posture of critical infrastructure components
• Design & implement scalable guardrails, utilizing a Policy-as-Code approach
• Be in charge of security tools used to secure Egnyte's multi-cloud environments
• Aid in incident response activities, providing domain specific knowledge

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment (GCP and/or Azure)
• Experience working with containerized workloads (eg. Kubernetes)
• Ability to digest security advisories and provide actionable remediation steps
• Ability to develop and deploy your own tools and automation (preferably in Python or Go)
• Strong background with CI/CD pipelines and security-related tooling
• Good command of English that allows you to effectively communicate and perform your tasks (B2/C1+)
