Credit Control Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader to our Credit Control team in Financial and Operational Procurement Services (FPS). Our professional team is providing credit control services for Fortum businesses.

As Credit Control Team Leader you will be leading a team of analysts responsible for credit analysis and monitoring tasks in Gdańsk. You will be playing a key role in ensuring daily service delivery and continuous improvement of service processes.

As a Team Leader you will have the opportunity to develop your professional expertise and interact with different finance counterparties. You will have possibility to participate in development initiatives and projects.

We expect that you have:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related,
• Practical knowledge of Credit Control processes as well as finance systems,
• 5+ years of experience in finance (credit control, risk, accounting, controlling)
• High analytical skills
• Expertise in Excel (VBA as a plus)
• Proven experience in leading teams within corporate or business structures, with a strong focus on delivering results in dynamic environments
• Positive mindset and excellent communication skills with the can-do attitude
• Proven ability to transform the services according to changing needs
• Fluent spoken and written English

Your responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting Team with day-to-day tasks
• Setting team priorities and objectives to focus on timely and accurate service delivery
• Active role in operational duties according to the internal procedures and based on the level of credit exposures (incl. credit analysis and monitoring, mitigation of risk exposures)
• Ensure compliance with Fortum instructions and policies (eg. Corporate Risk)
• Continuous improvement and harmonization of services (incl. best practices and operational excellence)
• Cooperation with Corporate Credit, credit agencies, auditors and other stakeholders
• Analyzing periodically service delivery and team performance
