Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in the retail sector to join our team. Daily duties include gathering and documenting requirements, creating analytical documentation and ensuring solutions align with business objectives. This role involves close cooperation with IT teams and clients to facilitate effective communication and project delivery. The position offers the flexibility of remote work.

*Responsibilities*

  • Gathering, analyzing, and specifying business and system requirements for point-of-sale systems (POS, Self-Checkout).
  • Creating analytical documentation (functional specifications, process diagrams, use cases).
  • Modeling business and system processes using BPMN or UML notation.
  • Close collaboration with the Product Owner, System Architect, developers, and testers within the product team.
  • Defining integration requirements (e.g., with payment terminals, fiscal systems, RFiD).
  • Supporting testers in preparing test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintaining and updating the system knowledge base in Confluence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
  • Practical experience in process modeling using BPMN, diagrams, or UML.
  • Experience in creating clear functional and technical specifications.
  • SQL knowledge sufficient for independent data analysis.
  • Practical knowledge of system integration and APIs (REST).
  • Excellent work organization, analytical thinking, and the ability to draw conclusions.
  • English language skills at a minimum B2/C1 level (fluent communication with partners, leading meetings, and documenting).

Nice to have

  • Experience working with POS (Point of Sale), Self-Checkout, ERP, or e-commerce systems.
  • Experience in the retail/fashion industry.
  • Experience in: UI/UX.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
