Join us as a Product Support Analyst

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Product Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be one that is curious and open to continuous learning. The role is unique with an array of responsibilities including system configuration, system support/diagnosis, business analysts, monthly operations, and minor development tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

• System Configuration: Day to day work including the setup and maintenance of entity reference data with a primary focus on both STAR and ePACE systemic rules.
• Support/Diagnosis: Investigate various fund and rule setups based on issue raised by various teams including GCS, NH, CP, Support, etc.
• Business Analyst: Work with member of STAR systems to enhance, fix or add various system or workflow code and or logic.  Help business teams design and execute deployment verification tests.
• Monthly Operations: During the first week of each month, help execute our data collection, aggregation and curation efforts across numerous data files used directly and indirectly for client invoicing purposes.
• Development: Utilizing SQL select statements, help develop ad-hoc queries for numerous business reporting needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree, and/or equivalent work experience
• 2 to 3 years Fund Accounting experience preferred
• 0 to 2 years prior business analyst experience preferred    
• 3 to 5 years related experience in the financial services industry
• Prior exposure to financial service systems projects and support
• Working knowledge of BBH OMEGA/STAR
• Understanding of custody and fund accounting operations; knowledge of fund administration applications is a plus
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Aptitude for understanding global business considerations when implementing new business systems
• Working knowledge of Excel and/or Access
• Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment
• Knowledge and experience preparing and executing test scripts are preferred
• Hands-on experience with software spreadsheets, report writer packages, database applications, programming, and establishing quality assurance procedures a plus
