Client Details

Our Client is an international company producing medical and pharmaceutical products (contract manufacturing). The company employs several hundred people in the Polish headquarters located near Wroclaw and is constantly expanding its space and teams.

Description

  • Leading Supply Chain team numbering 10-15 employees divided into following teams: procurement, planning and customer service
  • Reporting directly to Plant Director and HQ located abroad
  • Driving cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Optimization of procurement operations (negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers), continuous monitoring of purchase prices and ensuring the best price/quality/quantity ratio
  • Controlling and updating the list of approved suppliers and carrying out periodic assessments of suppliers
  • Searching for new suppliers
  • Managing the stock levels, re-order points, safety stock, etc.
  • Production planning (purchase orders including internal resources: manpower and equipment)

Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in leading a procurement / planning department within an industrial manufacturing environment (preferably contract manufacturing)
  • Experience gained in medical / pharmaceutical / cosmetics / food industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
  • Fluency in English & Polish l
  • Good managerial skills (people manager)
  • Good negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience in ERP system optimization and P2P process development
