Our Engineering Team develops integrated web interfaces and APIs into products, services and platforms. Working collaboratively and encompassing the full engineering cycle, we're constantly innovating to deliver for our customers. Our contribution is critical to the success of our customers' and Akamai's business. We work directly with the Open-Source community to share comprehensive support, updates and documentation.

Work with cutting edge technology

This role involves testing and automating reliable software solutions with a focus on usability. Responsibilities include developing tools for configuring Akamai products via Terraform, CLI, and similar platforms. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to ensure high-quality releases.

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II), you will be responsible for:

Writing high-quality test cases, building automation and test automation frameworks for Terraform Provider and Akamai CLI projects.Adapting to new languages while applying software development skills for tools and test automation frameworks.Understanding product requirements and ensuring that they are covered as part of the implementationCollaborating in an Agile environment and influencing through code reviews, design process and product development

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Demonstrate expertise in Go, Python, or similar, and adapt to learning new technologies as needed.Have an understanding of REST API testing.Show expertise in Linux/Unix systems and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GIT, or industry equivalents.Show experience with Docker or similar container technologies.Have experience of working in an Agile Team when developing products through the SDLCBe detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
