The internship involves working within the product team, focused on the analysis of private equity documents such as quarterly reports, capital accounts, and financial statements provided by fund managers. The
Off-Cycle Intern
will:

• Leverage in-house AI tools to input and maintain fund- and portfolio-level data, contributing to clients' portfolio monitoring needs
• Assist in validation and quality assurance checks to ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
• Help source, analyze, and extract financial information on funds and portfolio companies from financial reports
• Develop familiarity with RockSling's proprietary tools and analytics workflows
• Collaborate closely with senior team members and developers to enhance data processes and automation
• Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas for improving data efficiency and accuracy

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with an experienced team of private equity investment professionals and to learn about the private equity secondary market.

Requirements:

• Final-year bachelor's or master's student, or recent graduate in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• Basic understanding of the private equity industry
• Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting principles
• Basic knowledge of corporate finance and financial modeling
• Good Excel skills
• Previous internship or academic experience in portfolio monitoring, fund analytics, or valuations is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Interest in working in a tech company that is disrupting the private equity industry
• Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, and to adapt to a fast-moving environment
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work in an international environment
