About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced and detail-driven Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team in Skarbimierz. You'll take ownership of the end-to-end AP process, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, payments are made on time, and vendor relationships are well managed. This role suits someone who enjoys working collaboratively, stays organised and thrives in a busy environment.

This position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in our Skarbimierz office.

Role Responsibilities:


• Process, review and verify supplier invoices and employee expenses

• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded, approved and compliant with internal controls

• Prepare and run weekly payment batches

• Monitor the AP ledger, managing ageing and overdue balances

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain accurate vendor data within the accounting system

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Act as a point of contact for suppliers and internal teams regarding invoice and payment queries

• Identify opportunities to streamline the AP process and support continuous improvement

• Provide wider support to the Finance team with reporting and ad-hoc tasks

What you'll need:


• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar Finance role

• Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

• Ability to work at pace and meet deadlines

• A collaborative approach and clear communicator

• Communicative English, written and spoken

• Polish language essential (spoken and written), as this role interfaces with local suppliers and internal teams

You'll be comfortable working with numbers, confident handling suppliers, and able to spot issues before they become problems.
