Job Description:

As a Solvent and Chemicals Trader at Greenex, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base within the coating & paint industry, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our clients. Your daily responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and collaborating with various departments to achieve sales targets. This role requires a proactive and dynamic individual who is passionate about sales and has a deep understanding of the chemical industry.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management
    : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Coating & Paint industry, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Sales Activity Management
    : Oversee regional sales activities, identify new potential customers, and expand our market presence.
  • Product Sales
    : Drive sales of solvents and chemicals within allocated territories, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Sales Targets
    : Consistently meet or exceed personal and team sales targets, demonstrating a strong customer focus.
  • Cost Calculations
    : Prepare accurate cost calculations and provide customers with competitive quotations.
  • Negotiations
    : Negotiate terms of agreements with customers to close sales effectively.
  • Exhibitions
    : Attend local and international exhibitions to promote our products and network with industry professionals.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Finance Coordination
    : Collaborate with the Finance department on matters related to customer payments and credit management.
  • Technical Support
    : Address customer technical queries regarding new and existing products, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Reporting Line:
    Report directly to the Head of Petrochemical.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Industry Knowledge
    : In-depth knowledge of solvents and chemical sales, with a strong understanding of the chemicals industry.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    : Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Commercial Awareness
    : Strong commercial awareness and the ability to acquire and analyze market information.
  • Perseverance
    : Demonstrated perseverance and resilience in achieving sales targets.
  • Organizational Skills
    : Highly organized and responsible, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Marketing & Negotiation
    : Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.
  • Technical Proficiency
    : Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and basic accounting principles.

Experience:

At least 5 years of sales experience in the chemicals industry.
