We are supporting a leading international organization in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Warsaw. The organization is recognized for its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and professional development. Their Warsaw office plays a strategic role in supporting both regional and global functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Accounts Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts payable function across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing invoices and expense claims in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies.Responding to queries professionally and efficiently.Producing Oracle payment files and monitoring bank statements for rejections.Assisting with payment files across multiple currencies.Conducting analytical reviews of payments, including trend analysis to identify anomalies.Supporting the AP Manager with ad-hoc requests.Assisting auditors by providing timely files and responses to queries.

The ideal candidate will bring:

Prior accounts payable experience, ideally in a multi-currency environment within financial services.Experience with integrated and computerized accounting systems (Oracle preferred).Familiarity with invoice scanning and approval workflow products.Strong MS Excel skills.Proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and good relationship-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze processes and identify control weaknesses.Self-starter, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
