Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) Business Development Automotive.
Location:
This job can be done from Poland - 100 %. Because our customers are mostly around Krakow / Katowice, we are looking for candidates in this area.
What you will be doing:
- Responsiblity for the FAE activities in Poland
- Work closely with our Sales Account Manager
- Design IN und WIN of Vishay Semiconductors and passive Components at our focus automotive customers. Focus include : steering and break systems, Chassis and ADAS
- Maximize the future business of all Vishay components by identifying all potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM (Bill of Material ) content of Vishay broadline portfolio
- Define new products and derivatives in close cooperation with Marketing and R&D
- Act as internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing and R&D
- Manage projects in cooperation with Sales and Marketing to achieve product qualification and revenue
- Prepare and perform technical and application trainings
What you will bring along:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
- Experience in semiconductor and/or passive component technology
- Previous experience in pre-sales / FAE would be an advantage but is not a MUST; if you enjoy working customer facing
- Hardware design experience appreciated
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- MS Office skills
- Excellent German and English, other language skills as a plus
- Willingness to travel to customers (estimated 40 % of the time ) . Occasional travel for team meetings and training to Germany and Europe
