Develocraft is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (C# & Java) for our international client. Emphasis is on creating and sustaining products that ensure reliable, seamless, and secure connectivity to banks throughout Europe. The project centers on developing "low-touch" solutions capable of managing complex financial processes, including customer onboarding and verification, transaction monitoring, and anti-money laundering (AML) activities

Hybrid work / 3 visits to the office per week in Gdańsk/Warsaw

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in similar position
  • Deep knowledge of C# and/or Java
  • Experience building software using modern development standards (VCS, Test Automation, CI/CD)
  • A strong team-oriented mindset ("being able to work together as a team is a must")
  • Motivation and a passion for solving problems
  • Project management skills
  • English (B2-C1)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Cloud deployment (AWS) (Note: If you are an expert in C#/Java, this can be learned on the job)
  • Experience with provisioning Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with Containers (Docker)
  • Interest in computer security (Certificates, HTTPS)
  • Prior experience in regulated industries (financial, medical) or handling personal information

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain services and APIs using C# and Java
  • Work at the "bleeding edge" of account information and payment initiation technologies
  • Solve complex industry problems regarding API security, data accessibility, processing, and analysis
  • Collaborate with peers located primarily in Denmark, Ireland, and Romania
