Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success

Scope of responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for (backend) and React (frontend) applications

• Manage and optimize infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform (IaC)

• Containerize applications (Docker) and deploy them to Cloud Run or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, or GitHub Actions

• Manage configurations and secrets using Secret Manager

• Monitor system performance, availability, and costs with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging

• Ensure system security and compliance (IAM policies, secrets, access control)

• Collaborate closely with backend and frontend developers to ensure smooth delivery of new features

• Participate in infrastructure reviews, improve observability, and introduce automation where possible

Here's a set of skills we require:

• Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Cloud Run / GKE / Cloud Build / Artifact Registry / Cloud Storage)

• Practical knowledge of Terraform or another IaC tool (Pulumi, Cloud Deployment Manager)

• Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancing, DNS, routing)

• Strong experience with Docker (image building, optimization, security scanning)

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD)

• Familiarity with and React build processes

• Basic understanding of backend/frontend dependencies to support the development teams

• Experience with package managers (npm, pnpm, yarn)

• Experience with GCP IAM, Secret Manager, and Artifact Registry access control

• Logging, alerting, and metrics using Cloud Monitoring / Logging (Stackdriver)

• Awareness of container and dependency security best practices
