Senior R&D Test Engineer

As a Senior Test Engineer in our team a variety of tasks and responsibilities will be waiting for you. The most important ones are:

• Testing our products and solutions from all type of perspectives, with strong focus on automation
• Planning what to test and not to test using automation, what should be tested manually and what not at all
• Designing, developing, executing and maintaining our test suites, test frameworks and testing infrastructure
• Investigating various problems in our complex systems in close collaboration with development teams
• Communicating the feedback, you gathered through testing patiently and effectively to the right persons in the organization / Generate test summary reports for management review
• Execute manual tests
• Execute performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Participate in bug triage sessions.
• Continuously make our practices and results better /Continuously improve our infrastructure of test automation and reporting tools, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
• Able to perform Logs investigation, reporting and verification

• You are a go-getter, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving and debugging skills. We expect programming is not new to you. We will ask you to show your skills programming and test something for us so you can demonstrate your expertise there as well. Furthermore you have the following:
• Bacherlor's/Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree
• 4 years of relevant experience, including development and/or test automation experience
• Experience in testing web applications
• Experience in UI as well as API testing
• Working experience with Selenium, Cypress or Cucumber
• Experience with performance and load testing of back-end services (e.g. JMeter) is a plus
• Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, and Zephyr.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins or Teamcity.
• Knowledge of Source control tools such as Git, Subversion or CVS.
• Experience with agile development practices.
