We are looking for you, if you:

  • have very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT and Maven,

  • are able to create and support CI/CD pipeline for your project,

  • have Docker, OpenShift and Kafka knowledge,

  • are not afraid of challenges related to monitoring production system and incident solving,

  • are able to identify problems, analyse key information and propose the best solutions,

  • are a team player,

  • have min. 3 years of experience on similar position or so.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

  • Spring Webflux knowledge,

  • Prometheus and Grafana knowledge,

  • code testing skills,

  • IT Security knowledge,

  • Agile and DevOps knowledge,

Your responsibilities:

In this role as Java Dev Engineer you will be part of the GDMSSync team which is responsible for 2 applications (multiply microservices) in Archive domain of the ING Bank Netherlands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones,

  • assist the squad and related squads in required tasks like incident handling, doing checks after changes, etc.,

  • fully contribute to improving the squad's processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control etc. are adhered to,

  • contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Engineer III".
