We're searching for a
Game Director
to lead the vision and direction of a narrative-rich, immersive game project. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows how to guide experienced developers toward a unified creative goal. You'll be the cornerstone of creative decision-making, ensuring that the final product is both innovative and player-centric.

This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, so we're looking for someone open to relocating, as it is essential for this position.

This role is dedicated for candidates currently residing in Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shape and champion the creative vision for the project, from high-level concepts to detailed execution
  • Drive major decisions regarding gameplay systems, narrative structure, world-building, and visual direction
  • Act as a connector between departments – navigating creative differences, unifying goals, and reinforcing the game's vision
  • Offer structured, constructive feedback across design, art, and narrative teams
  • Motivate senior talent while mentoring junior developers
  • Contribute to hiring decisions and broader studio culture.
  • Play a role in shaping long-term product and studio strategy

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience shipping at least one AA title in a creative leadership capacity (e.g., Game Director, Creative Director, Lead Designer)
  • Minimum 8 years in game development across one or more disciplines (e.g., design, narrative, art, programming)
  • Strong creative vision and the ability to clearly communicate and defend it
  • A deep understanding of gameplay systems, player psychology, and engaging storytelling
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and player expectations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback constructively
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team alignment abilities
  • Comfortable balancing creative ambition with production constraints
  • Fluency in English or Polish is required
