We offer an opportunity of development in our Design Engineering Center team located in Bielsko-Biała plantAim of this role is to support lean initiatives and principles implementation in Avio Polska Engineering Center (Bielsko Biała) and cost optimization projects of aviation engine components (Low Pressure Turbine Nozzles and rotor, engine structures).Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Support the implementation of lean projects in the Engineering Center using lean tools and techniques (5S, kaizen)Collaborate with cross-functional teams on lean projects, continuous improvement, and standard work implementationSupport Lean and Design teams on design projects focused on cost optimization (aviation engine components: low-pressure turbine nozzles and rotors, engine structures)Collect, measure, and analyze data related to continuous improvement projectsParticipate in problem-solving and root-cause analysisFoster lean principles and knowledge among engineering individual contributors - support lean trainings and events (Kaizens)Qualifications/Requirements:Undergraduate (year 3/4) of Aeronautics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering departments or bachelor degree in lean or managementGood English and Polish communicationGood knowledge and practice of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)Self-motivation, open for new challenges and learning, team playerFundamental skills on drawings and technical documentationDesired Characteristics:Strong motivation in technical career growthGood understanding of lean principles and associated toolsBasic understanding of engine gas turbine principlesFundamental knowledge of mechanical components principles (material durability, static, dynamic)Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and material application in aviation industryBasic knowledge about Finite Element Method with skills in Ansys or Hyper MeshBasic knowledge of 2d/3d modelling (Unigraphics)We offer:flexible work schedule and hybrid work modelco-financing sport activitiesprivate medical carediscretionary awardsjubilee awardsholiday bonuschristmas bonusSodexo santa claus vouchers for employees' childrensubsidizing summer camps / winter camps / green schools for employees' childrencash rewards under the employee suggestion systemlife insuranceactive employee groups: Women's Network, Volunteers, Health Ahead, Sustainability Network, Disability Advocacy Network, AmbassadorsAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
