We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team at Collins Aerospace in Wrocław In this role, you'll be working on development of embedded software which is reliable and ready for integration on various safety critical systems (Inertial Navigation Systems, System for stabilization, AHRS, and IMU) on heterogenous application fields: Avionics, Naval, Aerospace.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

 

 Your responsibilities

• Development, verification, and certification of real-time embedded aviation software for Cockpit Display System in Display & Graphics team
• The software development includes design, implementation, testing, and documentation of the software in accordance with DO-178C guidelines
• Responsible for executing pre-defined project subtasks to meet customer specification.
• Ensures own work is completed on time and to specifications
• Exchange of task level information (system requirements, technical drawings, specifications, etc.) with team members
• Participation in project meetings and presentations
• Mentor junior engineer to solve technical challenges
• Break down complex requirements into meaningful advancements
• Assess complexity and estimate effort of new requirements
• You will test the avionics Display & Graphics software, which you develop, on a real avionics’ hardware/platform

Our requirements

• University degree in technical field
• 3+ years’ of commercial experience with developing in C++ / C  in accordance with the MISRA standard,
• Advanced command of English language
• Ability to work in complex aerospace area and learn through experience
• Experience with working in international environment with virtual teams

Optional

• Experience with Aerospace SW development per DO-178
• Ability to seek solution through communication with other team members
• Knowledge of software configuration management tools (GitHub, BitBucket)
• Ability to synchronize with international teams in different time zones
• Knowledge of model-based development, implementation of GUI design through OpenGL
• Willingness to travel if needed
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python)
• Requirements based development attitude

Zakres wynagrodzenia dla tego stanowiska wynosi 10,250.0 PLN - 20,500.0 PLN.
