Customer Service E-Commerce Supervisor

As an E-Commerce Supervisor you will lead a team of specialists and coordinate activities critical to driving electronic ordering initiatives. Your role will focus on identifying and implementing innovative solutions in partnership with our customers, while maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
You will develop and uphold the company39s value proposition in the E-Commerce space, aiming to increase Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) rates and promote automated business solutions. Your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders—including the Customer Service teams, IT, Sales, and Marketing—will be crucial to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of E-Commerce ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and implement tailored solutions that enhance electronic ordering processes in partnership with customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Sales and Customer Service regarding any EDI implementation issues, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
- Develop and maintain a company’s value proposition on E-Commerce, effectively communicating it to all business partners, including external customers.
- Initiate and drive projects aimed at achieving touchless or one-touch order processing while analyzing and monitoring customer E-Commerce capabilities; promote the use of web portals and platforms.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to conduct root cause analyses of electronic ordering processes, leading to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate opportunities for new E-Commerce projects, including testing and validating new E-Commerce solutions.
- Present results and recommendations post-optimization to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in e-commerce, electronic ordering systems, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in team leadership and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills (English), both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with EDI systems and other e-commerce technologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
