POSITION PURPOSE To manage new product development projects according to the company strategy, priorities and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES 
  • Prepares project plan together with project team. Provides updates and reports on project progress.
  • Cooperates with external companies, contract partners and appropriate departments, sets goals and checks their accomplishment aiming at optimal resources employment and successful project finalization.
  • Responsible for meeting project related quality, cost and timeline. Communicates relevant information from the technical team to Program Managers. Communicates relevant information from Program Managers and other Work Package Leaders to the technical team.
  • People leadership – Constitutes and represents project teams, coaches project team members, suggests changes in project teams, motivates project team members, calls and steers project team meetings.
  • Creates, revises, updates project-related documentation and databases.
  • Prepares and monitors project budget. Is responsible for meeting approved project costs. Informs about necessary changes in project budget aiming at effective utilization of
    resources. Participates at Development budget preparation.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED / QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
  • University degree with scientific background (chemistry, pharmacy)
  • Several years of working experience in Project Management / Development / Industrial in the pharma industry
  • Fluent English
  • Computer proficiency – data analysis and presentation
  • Positive and open personality, excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to distinguish between important and extraneous; decision making under uncertainty
  • Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, result orientation, structured way of working
